The 8th Annual Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit took place from October 6-8, 2014 just outside of Washington, DC convening 400+ leading funders, private sector, implementers, policy-makers, educators, and youth leaders from 50 countries working to increase economic opportunities for young people.

The Summit featured 5 learning tracks and 2 spotlights.  The workforce development learning track focused on how to support young people to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for gainful employment or improved work performance; and how to provide employers with an effective means to communicate and meet their demand for skills.
