Summary: Successful workforce development happens when all the workforce development (WfD) system’s pieces are functional and working together towards an aligned purpose. Projects are embedded within this WfD system, while WfD itself is a system embedded within larger national, regional, and global systems. This session will define the challenge, review traditional models, and conclude with an exploration of new models of systems thinking and their application to WfD programming.
