Jamaica Health & Wellness Tourism Value Chain

In 2016, the LAC Regional Workforce Development Program (Advance)—implemented by FHI 360 with funding from USAID—applied Workforce Connections’ Labor Market Assessment tools to explore sectors with promising job growth potential in Jamaica. This value chain map illustrates the structure and key stakeholders of the Jamaican tourism sector, helping Advance to identify skills gaps and correspondingly, opportunities to strengthen technical education programs that respond to the skills needs in the sector.

    It is very important for the students to work on their skills. Success does not come to those who just stand still. Well, my opinion is once you stop, you begin to degrade.
